Warranty
Minimum 12 Month Warranty
Our products are supported by a minimum 12 month warranty against defects. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Hong Kong Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This excludes faults caused by the way the device is treated and/or used.
Prior to returning a device for warranty, please contact us to obtain a Return Authorisation Number along with instructions on how to ship your item back to us. Once received and inspected, we will facilitate a repair, refund or replacement.
WHAT WE WILL NOT COVER
Warranty is void in the below instances:
- Cracked screen or physically damaged
- Water damage Liquid Damage
- Accidental Damage - any damage, including damage caused by fire and/or liquid damage, caused to your gadget which was not deliberately caused by you or any other person.
- Software that has been tampered with
- Unauthorised repairs (3rd party repairs)
- Customer has failed to take reasonable steps to avoid the quality becoming unacceptable
- Customer has used the product abnormally
- Accidental loss/accidentally lost - means that the gadget has been accidentally left by you in a location and you are permanently deprived of its use.
- Breakdown - the breaking or burning out of any part of your gadget whilst in ordinary use arising from internal electronic, electrical or mechanical defects in your gadget and which causes a sudden stoppage to your ability to use your gadget in the way intended by the manufacturer of the gadget.
- Theft/ Stolen - means the unauthorised dishonest appropriation of the gadget specified on your schedule of insurance, by another person with the intention of permanently depriving you of it.
- Any loss of or damage to information or data or software contained in or stored on the gadget whether arising as a result of a claim paid by this insurance or otherwise.
Please note:
- Please refer to the item description to verify the length of warranty offered -
- We do not accept responsibility for return items until they reach our warehouse so we strongly suggest using tracking and/or insurance for the delivery.
- We will not accept a returned device that is iCloud or Google locked. If your device is account locked you will receive a notification from us to remove the lock. The device will be returned if still locked after 3 business days.
- IMEI will be validated against the IMEI shipped. Return will not be accepted on mismatched IMEI’s.
- Items sold For Parts are not covered by our Warranty period
Accessories
All devices sold by Swoopy Mobile are 100% genuine items and part of our inspection Accompanying accessories (such as cables and earphones where offered) are 3rd party accessories. No devices are shipped with wall chargers.
